| Product Name | CFDA SE Cell Proliferation Tracer Fluorescent Probe |
| Catalog No. | CATR-HMM-0022 |
| Description | CFDA, SE is a derivative of fluorescein diacetate (FDA), which is cell membrane-permeable and lacks intrinsic fluorescence. After passively transporting through the cell membrane into live cells, it can be catalyzed by cytoplasmic esterases to form carboxyfluorescein succinimidyl ester (CFSE), which emits strong green fluorescence, cannot penetrate the cell membrane, and remains intact within the cell. CFSE can also spontaneously and irreversibly bind to amino groups within the cell, thereby coupling to cellular proteins. Excess CFDA, SE that has not been coupled is passively diffused back into the extracellular culture medium and removed during subsequent washing steps. Fluorescence in non-dividing cells labeled with CFDA, SE is highly stable, with labeling stability lasting for months, making it ideal for cell colony analysis. |
| Application | This product can be used for in vitro cell proliferation experiments and can also be used to track cell division and proliferation processes in vivo. |
