Product Name Human CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit ( Negative Selection )
Catalog No. SM-HMM-0040
Description The principle of magnetic beads cell isolation is to use immunomagnetic beads to label cells, the cells bound to the magnetic beads and without bound to the magnetic beads are separated by an external magnetic field. Our Cell Isolation Kit has two separation technologies, negative selection and positive selection, for both human and mouse samples, and is suitable for different application directions.
Storage Store at 2-8°C, do not freeze.
Applications This kit is indicated for sorting CD8+ T cells from freshly isolated human PBMC or lyophilized human PBMC.

CD8+ T cells are critical components of the adaptive immune system, playing pivotal roles in defending against viral infections, intracellular pathogens, and tumor cells. Their ability to recognize and eliminate abnormal or infected cells makes them a focal point in immunological research, clinical diagnostics, and the development of immunotherapies.
In research and clinical settings, obtaining highly pure and functionally intact CD8+ T cells is essential for studies such as cell activation assays, cytokine profiling, adoptive cell transfer experiments, and drug screening. Traditional cell separation methods, such as density gradient centrifugation alone, often fail to achieve the required purity, leading to interference from contaminating cells in downstream applications.
The demand for reliable and efficient CD8+ T cell isolation tools has grown significantly with the expansion of immunology research and the advancement of personalized medicine. Negative selection technology has emerged as a preferred approach for cell isolation due to its ability to preserve the native phenotype and function of target cells. Unlike positive selection, which labels and isolates target cells directly, negative selection removes non-target cells (e.g., B cells, monocytes, CD4+ T cells, NK cells) using specific antibodies conjugated to magnetic beads, leaving the desired CD8+ T cells untouched and biologically active.
This Human CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit (Negative Selection) is developed to meet the rigorous needs of researchers and clinicians, providing a streamlined workflow to obtain high-purity CD8+ T cells from human PBMC samples. It supports a wide range of applications, from basic immunological research to preclinical studies, enabling accurate and reproducible results.
