| Description | Brdu, also known as bromodeoxyuridine, is a synthetic thymidine analog that can replace thymidine nucleoside and selectively bind to cellular DNA during the S phase. In genetic research, Brdu can be loaded through in vivo injection or cell culture, and then specifically labeled with anti-Brdu monoclonal antibodies. ICC or IHC staining methods are used to show proliferating cells. In addition, it can also be combined with other cell markers for double staining to determine the type and proliferation rate of proliferating cells, which is of great significance for the study of cell dynamics. |
