| Usage | Collect 0-minute Breath Sample: The subject should be fasting or have fasted for at least 2h. The subject will slowly exhale into the collection bag, which will then be sealed. This constitutes the 0-minute breath sample. Administer Medication: The subject will swallow one 13C urea capsule with 80–100 mL of cool drinking water and then sit quietly. Collect 30-minute Breath Sample: Thirty minutes after medication, the subject slowly exhales into the collection bag and seals it. This sample is designated as the 30-minute breath sample. Testing: Perform 13CO2 detection on the collected 0-minute and 30-minute breath samples using the corresponding instrument. Results are expressed as δ‰. A δ‰ ≥4.0 indicates the subject is Hp-positive. |
