| Description | A protein-free variant of the MOPS-buffered alkaline phosphatase stabiliser, formulated at pH 6.3 plus or minus 0.4 without any protein component. Removing protein from the matrix eliminates the possibility of protein-protein cross reactions between stabiliser and assay reagents, a decisive advantage in sensitive immunoassays where albumin-containing buffers can contribute to background. AP conjugates diluted into this stabiliser keep their activity through prolonged 2-8°C storage, preserving the convenience of pre-diluted working solutions. |
