| Description | Powdered Hanks balanced salt solution at 1x working strength, retaining the calcium and magnesium of complete HBSS while omitting phenol red. The formulation of calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride supports cell suspension and washing in workflows where the indicator would perturb optical measurements. Dissolve in water and filter-sterilise; autoclaving is not permitted. |
