| Product Name | Plant Total Protein Extraction Kit |
| Catalog No. | REKI-0005 |
| Description | Plant tissues resist conventional protein extraction because cell walls, phenolics and proteases conspire to degrade yield. This kit grinds plant material thoroughly under liquid nitrogen and then extracts released proteins under denaturing conditions with a dedicated reagent system. Reagent A carries sodium orthovanadate, sodium fluoride, EDTA and leupeptin, so proteolysis is suppressed from the first step and protein integrity is maximised. The kit recovers total protein including membrane, nuclear, cytoplasmic and rare species from plant cells, tissues or protoplasts. |
| Intended Use | Denaturing total protein extraction from plant tissues, cells and protoplasts for SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and immunoprecipitation |
| Principle / Technology | Liquid nitrogen grinding plus denaturing reagent chemistry releases the complete plant proteome while inhibitors protect it |
