| Product Name | PBS (1x), Cell Culture Grade |
| Catalog No. | RESK-0633 |
| Description | Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS), cell culture grade, is one of the most commonly used buffer solutions. It is mainly composed of NaCl, KCl, Na2HPO4 and KH2PO4, contains no Ca2+ or Mg2+, and has a pH of 7.2-7.4. This reagent is sterilized by filtration and is commonly used for washing cells during cell culture or for other routine applications. This product is a 1x working solution and can be used directly. |
| Intended Use | Provides a buffer system for cell washing during cell culture and for other routine laboratory applications. |
| Principle / Technology | Isotonic phosphate-buffered saline that maintains physiological pH (7.2-7.4) and osmotic pressure during cell handling; the calcium- and magnesium-free formulation is suitable for washing cells, including the removal of chelating agents before cell dissociation. |
| Sample Type | Animal cells. |

| Regulatory / Compliance | For research use only. |
| Compatibility | Suitable for washing cells during cell culture and other routine applications; recommended for use before enzymatic cell dissociation to remove chelating agents. |
| Recommended Buffer System | Phosphate buffer system (Na2HPO4/KH2PO4) in saline. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | 1. When dissociating cells, it is recommended to use calcium- and magnesium-free PBS to wash away chelating agents and ensure dissociation efficiency. 2. Please select the appropriate PBS formulation based on the literature or the corresponding product recommendations for your specific application. |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
