| Description | Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS) is one of the most commonly used buffer solutions. It is mainly composed of NaCl, KCl, Na2HPO4 and KH2PO4, contains no Ca2+ or Mg2+, and has a pH of 7.4 +/- 0.1. This product is a 10x concentrate sterilized by 0.1 um filtration. After diluting 10-fold with sterile water, it can be used directly for cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissues, diluting cells for counting, or preparing other reagents. |
