| Description | Mycobacterium leprae (M. leprae), commonly known as the leprosy bacillus, causes leprosy, a chronic infectious disease that is widespread. The morphology and staining characteristics of Mycobacterium leprae are similar to those of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The leprosy bacillus is widely distributed within the patient’s body. Therefore, rapid detection of Mycobacterium leprae is of great importance. |
| Features | Ready to use; users only need to provide a DNA template sample. The primers and probes have been optimized to ensure high analytical sensitivity, capable of detecting as few as 100 copies per reaction. A positive control is provided to help distinguish false-negative samples. High specificity: The primers are designed based on highly conserved regions of Mycobacterium leprae DNA and do not cross-react with DNA from other organisms. Suitable for both qualitative and quantitative detection. When used for quantitative detection, the linear range is at least five orders of magnitude. This product is sufficient for 50 20-μL probe-based quantitative PCR reactions. This product is for research use only. |
