Description The Alta DiagnoTech human CYP2D6 genotyping kit uses ARMS-PCR to assess CYP2D6*10. This polymorphism can influence the metabolism of metoprolol and other drugs, including antipyrine, codeine, tramadol and tamoxifen, and may support individualized treatment decisions.
Intended Use CYP2D6*10 genotyping to inform selection and dosing of metoprolol and other drugs whose metabolism is affected by CYP2D6 activity.
