| Description | This running buffer is formulated specifically for high resolution Bis-Tris precast protein gels and delivers reliable performance in denaturing protein electrophoresis. Supplied as a powder, it dissolves in water to 200 mL of 10x stock for space saving storage, or directly to 2 L of 1x working solution. Each litre of 1x buffer contains 50 mM Tris, 50 mM MOPS, 0.1% SDS and 1 mM EDTA, providing the neutral pH environment that keeps Bis-Tris gels stable and proteins unmodified during the run. |
