| Description | Powdered D-Hanks balanced salt solution at 1x working strength, formulated without phenol red so the buffer stays compatible with spectrophotometric readouts and indicator-sensitive culture steps. The calcium-free and magnesium-free composition suspends and washes cells without calcium-dependent aggregation, and the blend of potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride holds pH near 7.2 to 7.4 in use. Dissolve in water and filter-sterilise; autoclaving is not permitted. |
