| Product Name | CFDA SE Cell Proliferation and Tracking Kit |
| Catalog No. | REKI-0027 |
| Description | Kit built around CFDA SE, a membrane-permeant fluorescein diacetate derivative that turns into fluorescent CFSE once intracellular esterases cleave it. The succinimidyl ester then couples irreversibly to intracellular amines, anchoring the label inside the cell for months, and unreacted reagent diffuses back out and is washed away. During each division the fluorescence is halved, so a flow cytometer FL1 readout resolves cells that have divided up to eight times or more, and the labeling is uniform enough for lymphocyte proliferation, fibroblast and NK cell studies as well as in vivo tracking without staining neighboring cells. The kit contains CFDA SE powder, solvent and staining buffer in a 500-test format; store at -20 °C away from light for up to 6 months. |
| Intended Use | Monitoring of cell division history, proliferation and long-term cell tracking by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy |
| Principle / Technology | Intracellular esterases convert CFDA SE to fluorescent CFSE, which covalently couples to intracellular proteins and is halved at each cell division |
| Specificity | 500 T; CFDA SE powder plus solvent plus staining buffer; FL1 green fluorescence; labeling stable for months; up to eight or more divisions resolved; 6 month shelf life |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Prepare the CFDA SE working solution avoiding premature hydrolysis, label the cells, wash out excess dye and follow fluorescence dilution over subsequent divisions |
| Storage Conditions | -20 °C, protected from light |
| Package Specifications | 500 T |
| Key Features | Months-stable label for long-term tracking; uniform fluorescence division dilution; no cross-staining of neighboring cells; 500-test economy format |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
