Description A ten-fold concentrated high-pH Tris-EDTA antigen retrieval solution for heat-induced epitope retrieval in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue immunohistochemistry.
Intended Use Reversing protein cross-links in FFPE tissue sections to expose antibody epitopes masked by formalin fixation, enabling successful immunohistochemical detection.
Principle / Technology Alkaline pH and elevated temperature hydrolyze methylene bridges formed during formalin fixation; EDTA chelates calcium ions that stabilize protein cross-links.
