Description Alta DiagnoTech anti-DYKDDDDK magnetic beads use a rabbit monoclonal antibody covalently coupled to nanoscale carboxyl magnetic beads. The superparamagnetic particles selectively capture DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins and associated complexes from lysates, serum or ascites.
Intended Use Immunoprecipitation, co-immunoprecipitation and purification of DYKDDDDK- or FLAG-tagged proteins and complexes.
Principle / Technology Monoclonal-antibody affinity capture followed by magnetic separation.

Reaction Conditions / Protocol Performance example: 20 µL beads with 500 µL sample containing about 0.7 mg total protein; incubate overnight at 4 °C. Elute with 20 µL 1× SDS-PAGE loading buffer by heating at 100 °C for 5 minutes, then collect the supernatant for Western blot analysis.
