Product Name 30-150 µm Heparin Magnetic Agarose Beads for Plasma Protein Purification
Catalog No. IRMGM-0065
Description Alta DiagnoTech heparin-functional magnetic agarose combines strong anionic sulfate interactions with affinity recognition for rapid one-step purification of selected proteins.
Intended Use Magnetic purification of heparin-binding proteins, growth factors, antithrombin III and related biomolecules.
Principle / Technology Negatively charged heparin sulfate groups bind positively charged proteins at suitable pH, while heparin provides specific affinity for growth factors and antithrombin III.
Detection Method Magnetic affinity purification
Sample Type Plasma and other biological protein samples
Performance Range / Specifications Heparin density is approximately 3 mg per mL beads, and protein-binding capacity reaches 2 mg per mL of fully settled beads. The medium operates at 4-30 °C.
Storage Conditions 2-8 °C
Package Specifications 5 mL, 2 × 50 mL or 4 × 250 mL at 10% v/v and 30-150 µm
Product Form Heparin magnetic agarose bead suspension
Key Features Rapid magnetic response, high heparin density, good dispersion and resuspension, strong physicochemical stability, parallel processing and no flow-rate or column-pressure requirement.
Concentration 10% v/v bead suspension
Compatibility Antithrombin III, coagulation factors, interferons, nucleic acid-binding proteins, lipoproteins, protein-synthesis factors, restriction endonucleases, thrombin and thrombin-like proteins
Product Type Heparin affinity magnetic agarose beads
Function / Efficacy Purify heparin-binding proteins through electrostatic and affinity interactions.
Storage Buffer 20% v/v ethanol
Analytes / Targets Antithrombin III, coagulation factors, growth factors, interferons, nucleic acid-binding proteins, lipoproteins, restriction enzymes, thrombin and related proteins
Matrix Magnetic agarose
Particle Size 30-150 µm
Ligand / Bonded Phase Heparin
