| Description | Ten-fold concentrate of Tris-buffered saline with Tween-20 containing 250 mM Tris, 1500 mM sodium chloride and 0.5% Tween-20 at pH 7.5 ± 0.1 (25 °C). Dilute with distilled or deionised water to 1× before use. The buffer prepares blocking solutions and dilutes or washes antibodies in Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry, lowering background and raising signal to noise; 100 mL of stock washes 100 to 200 membranes in blot workflows. |
