Product Name 10-150 µm Hydroxyl, Amino and Carboxyl Magnetic Agarose Beads
Catalog No. IRMGM-0060
Description Alta DiagnoTech magnetic agarose microspheres combine a hydrophilic natural polymer matrix with superparamagnetic material for high-capacity ligand immobilization and separation.
Intended Use Protein separation, affinity-media development, immunoassays, drug screening and delivery research.
Principle / Technology Magnetic agarose provides rapid magnetic handling, low nonspecific adsorption and reactive surface groups for ligand coupling.
Sample Type Proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides and drug molecules
Performance Range / Specifications Particle-size ranges of 10-30 µm and 30-150 µm are available. Carboxyl group content is approximately 1,000 µmol/g, and between-batch functional-group content has a CV below 5%.
Package Specifications Hydroxyl 30-150 µm at 50% v/v: 10, 100 or 1,000 mL; hydroxyl 10-30 µm at 50% v/v: 5, 10, 50, 100 or 1,000 mL, including ultra-suspension and 6B options; amino 10-30 µm at 20% v/v: 5 mL; amino 30-150 µm at 20% v/v: 5 or 50 mL; carboxyl 30-150 µm at 20% v/v: 5 or 50 mL; carboxyl 10-30 µm at 20% v/v: 5, 50 or 1,000 mL.
Product Form Magnetic agarose bead suspension
Key Features Rapid magnetic response, good dispersion, low nonspecific adsorption, high ligand capacity and strong batch consistency.
Concentration Hydroxyl formats: 50% v/v; amino and carboxyl formats: 20% v/v
Batch-to-Batch Consistency Functional-group content CV <5%
Product Type Functional magnetic agarose microspheres
Function / Efficacy Provide a hydrophilic magnetic carrier for ligand coupling, target capture and purification.
Functional Group Hydroxyl, amino or carboxyl
