Product Name Squamous Cell Carcinoma-Associated Antigen (SCC) Assay Reagent, Magnetic Particle Based Chemiluminescent Immunoassay
Catalog No. TMTR-HMM-0011
Description The SCC antigen is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of approximately 48KD. It serves as a tumor marker for cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer, and esophageal cancer. In cases of cervical cancer, SCC is used as one of the early warning factors. It can indicate the risk level of cancer and has a sensitivity of 44% to 69% for primary cervical cancer. The sensitivity to recurrent cancer is 67%-100%. After radical resection of cervical cancer, the concentration of SCC significantly decreases, which is a very good auxiliary indicator for surgical prognosis.
Application This product is used for the in vitro detection of squamous cell carcinoma-associated antigen (SCC) in human serum.
