Product Name Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen (SCC) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. TMTR-HMM-0060
Description A quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay for the measurement of SCC antigen in human serum, supporting clinical monitoring of squamous cell carcinomas of the cervix, lung, esophagus, and head and neck.
Intended Use Quantitative serum SCC antigen measurement for monitoring therapeutic response and detecting recurrence in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of various primary sites.
Principle / Technology Sandwich ELISA utilizing monoclonal antibodies that recognize both SCCA1 and SCCA2 isoforms of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) family.
Detection Method Spectrophotometric measurement at 450 nm
Sample Type Human serum; skin contamination of the specimen must be avoided
Performance Range / Specifications 0.3–50 ng/mL standard curve range
Sensitivity / LOD ≤0.1 ng/mL minimum detectable concentration
Specificity Detection of both acidic (SCCA2) and neutral (SCCA1) isoforms; no cross-reactivity with other serpin family members at physiological concentrations
Reaction Conditions / Protocol 90-minute sample incubation at 37°C, followed by sequential 60-minute detection antibody, 30-minute enzyme conjugate, and 20-minute substrate development incubations
Components / Formulation Anti-SCC antibody-coated 96-well plate, SCC antigen standards (5 concentrations plus zero), HRP-conjugated detection antibody, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer concentrate, sample diluent
Storage Conditions 2–8°C; reconstituted standard stable for 7 days at 2–8°C
Shelf Life 12 months
Package Specifications 96 tests
Product Form Pre-coated plate with liquid reagents
Quality Control Intra-assay CV below 7%; inter-assay CV below 9%; dilution linearity 95–105%
Key Features Dual isoform detection ensures comprehensive SCC antigen measurement across SCCA1 and SCCA2 variants; validated reference range supports clinical interpretation for multiple squamous cell carcinoma indications
