| Product Name | Neuron-Specific Enolase (NSE) Assay Reagent, Magnetic Particle Based Chemiluminescent Immunoassay |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0013 |
| Description | Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) is currently a tumor marker for detecting small cell lung cancer (SCLC). SCLC is sensitive to combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and the serum NSE concentration usually drops to the normal level after treatment. However, most SCLC patients still experience recurrence. Monitoring the treatment process with NSE concentration can generally predict the recurrence of SCLC 4 to 12 weeks in advance, which is obviously earlier and more convenient than chest X-ray examination. Therefore, the level of serum NSE has practical significance for the diagnosis, differentiation, condition assessment and therapeutic effect estimation of SCLC. |
| Application | This product is used for the in vitro detection of the content of neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in human serum. |
