Product Name Human lg-kappa/lg-lambda Permanent CISH Kit
Catalog No. IC-HMM-0002
Description Polyclonal expression of κ or λ light chains is considered to reflect reactive hyperplasia, while malignant lymphoma shows monoclonal expression. Although immunohistochemical detection of Ig-κ and Ig-λ often leads to excessive background staining, in situ hybridization technology, with its advantage of almost no background signal, can achieve safe and simple analysis of the clonality of specific lymphocyte populations.
Applications This product is used for the qualitative detection of human Ig-kappa and Ig-lambda light chain mRNA in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens (such as lymphoma) using chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) technology.
Detection Principle In situ staining and in situ hybridization (CISH) is a detection method that combines immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. The principle involves using antibodies labeled with enzymes (such as horseradish peroxidase) to bind to target proteins in tissue sections. Through enzymatic reactions, these antibodies produce colorable products at the locations of the target proteins, thereby visually displaying the distribution and expression of the target proteins under a microscope.
