| Product Name | Human Lambda Free Light Chain Assay Reagent, Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0028 |
| Description | Serum light chain is an important component of human immunoglobulin and is divided into two types: kappa type and lambda type. The detection of serum light chain can be used for the diagnosis, classification and later disease monitoring of multiple myeloma. |
| Application | This product is a latex particle enhanced immunoturbidimetric detection kit used for the quantitative determination of λ free light chain (FLC) concentration in serum on a validated analyzer. The combination of κ FLC and λ FLC determination is helpful for the diagnosis and monitoring of multiple myeloma. |
| Test Item | λ FLC |
| Specimen Type | Serum |
| Sample Capacity | 20 µL |
| Detection Range | 3.5-200 mg/L |
| Detection Method | Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Detection Principle | The human λ free light chain (λ) detection kit is based on latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry. The λ free light chains (λ FLC) in the sample bind to the specific anti-λ free light chain (λ FLC) antibodies coated on the latex particles and cause agglutination. The turbidity caused by agglomeration can be measured by optical methods and is directly proportional to the content of λ free light chains (λ FLC) in the sample. |
