| Product Name | Human Kappa Free Light Chain Assay Reagent, Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0029 |
| Description | Serum light chain is an important component of human immunoglobulin and is divided into two types: kappa type and lambda type. The detection of serum light chain can be used for the diagnosis, classification and later disease monitoring of multiple myeloma. |
| Application | This product is a latex particle enhanced immunoturbidimetric detection kit used for the quantitative determination of κ free light chain (FLC) concentration in serum on a validated analyzer. The combined detection of κ FLC and Lambda FLC is helpful for the diagnosis and monitoring of multiple myeloma. |
| Test Item | κ FLC |
| Specimen Type | Serum |
| Sample Capacity | 4 µL |
| Detection Range | 2.9-150 mg/L |
| Detection Method | Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Detection Principle | The Human κ Free Light Chain (κ FLC) detection kit is based on latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry. The κ FLC in the sample binds to the specific anti-κ FLC antibody coated on the latex particles and causes agglutination. The turbidity caused by agglomeration can be measured by optical methods and is directly proportional to the content of κ FLC in the sample. |
