Description A chemiluminescence immunoassay reagent for the quantitative determination of ferritin in human serum. Beyond its role as an iron storage marker, ferritin is utilized as a tumor marker in certain hematological and solid malignancies.
Intended Use Quantitative ferritin measurement in serum for iron status assessment and as an adjunct tumor marker in selected malignancies including hepatocellular carcinoma and hematological neoplasms.
Principle / Technology Sandwich CLIA with two monoclonal anti-ferritin antibodies targeting distinct epitopes on the ferritin protein shell.
