| Detection Principle | CEA detection is based on latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry. The CEA in the sample binds to the specific anti-CEA antibodies coated on the latex particles and causes agglutination. The turbidity caused by agglomeration can be measured optically and is directly proportional to the CEA content in the sample. |
