| Product Name | Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) Assay Reagent, Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Catalog No. | TMTR-HMM-0027 |
| Description | CEA is an acidic glycoprotein with specificity for human embryonic antigens. It has significant clinical value in diagnosing malignant tumors such as colorectal cancer and continuously detecting and evaluating the condition. |
| Application | This product is used to determine the concentration of carcinoembryonic antigen in serum by latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry. |
| Test Item | CEA |
| Specimen Type | Serum |
| Sample Capacity | 25 µL |
| Detection Range | 100 ng/mL |
| Detection Method | Latex Enhanced Immunoturbidmetric |
| Detection Principle | CEA detection is based on latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry. The CEA in the sample binds to the specific anti-CEA antibodies coated on the latex particles and causes agglutination. The turbidity caused by agglomeration can be measured optically and is directly proportional to the CEA content in the sample. |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
