| Description | This assay employs a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. The microplate provided with this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific to ICA. Subsequently, standards or samples are added to the corresponding wells of the microplate along with horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled ICA, followed by incubation. Under the mediation of the antibody, HRP-labeled ICA and unlabeled ICA undergo a competitive inhibition reaction. After adding the substrate solution to the wells, the degree of color development is inversely proportional to the concentration of ICA in the sample. Following termination of the color development reaction, the color intensity is measured. |
