Product Name Activated Coagulation Time (ACT) Test Kit (Coagulation Method)
Catalog No. CFTK-HMM-0107
Application Activated clotting time (ACT) is one of the sensitive screening tests for endogenous coagulation system, and this kit is mainly used for the determination of activated clotting time in human and animal blood.
Detection Principle The time required for venous blood to completely clot after leaving the body is the clotting time, which is a screening test reflecting the activity of each coagulation factor of the endogenous coagulation system. By adding white clay-encephalin suspension to whole blood, white clay fully activates coagulation factors E.D. and Ⅺ to activate the endogenous coagulation system, while encephalin provides a rich catalytic surface for coagulation reaction to promote the coagulation process and improve the sensitivity of the experiment, and the clotting time of the detected blood is the activated clotting time (ACT).
