Product Name RISH AP Detection Kit
Catalog No. IR-HMM-0085
Description RISH probes can specifically hybridize with homologous mRNA or DNA in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue. The RISH AP Detection Kit provides reagents and materials for the preparation, pretreatment, hybridization, and detection of digoxigenin-labeled probes.
Applications The RISH AP Detection Kit is used for the pretreatment of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues and for detecting digoxigenin-labeled probes on FFPE tissues in in situ hybridization (ISH) experiments.
Detection Principle Color-enhanced in situ hybridization (CISH) enables visual identification of specific mRNA or DNA nucleic acid sequences in tissues. After pretreating FFPE tissues and applying probes, the presence of target nucleic acids can be visualized under a light microscope through a series of steps involving the application of secondary antibodies bound to digoxigenin-labeled probes, tertiary antibodies bound to enzyme-labeled antibodies, and color development reagents.
