| Detection Principle | Color-enhanced in situ hybridization (CISH) enables visual identification of specific mRNA or DNA nucleic acid sequences in tissues. After pretreating FFPE tissues and applying probes, the presence of target nucleic acids can be visualized under a light microscope through a series of steps involving the application of secondary antibodies bound to digoxigenin-labeled probes, tertiary antibodies bound to enzyme-labeled antibodies, and color development reagents. |
