| Product Name | Bovine IgG, Unlabeled |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0290 |
| Description | Bovine IgG is purified immunoglobulin G isolated from pooled normal bovine serum by a dedicated fractionation process and supplied as a lyophilised powder. The product carries no label and therefore behaves as nonspecific IgG. Analysis by SDS-PAGE confirms purity of at least 97 percent. In Western Blot workflows it serves as a blocking reagent that occupies nonspecific binding sites on the membrane, and it provides a credible nonspecific immunoglobulin control in immunoanalytical experiments where a matched serum protein background is required. The powder reconstitutes readily in the phosphate-buffered saline in which it was lyophilised. |
| Intended Use | Blocking reagent for Western Blot membranes and nonspecific immunoglobulin control in immunoanalytical experiments. |
| Principle / Technology | Unlabelled IgG occupies nonspecific protein binding sites on membranes and plates, reducing background antibody adsorption and providing a matched immunoglobulin background for control lanes. |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Purity of at least 97 percent by SDS-PAGE with lyophilised presentation retaining full solubility. |
| Specificity | Nonspecific immunoglobulin G with no label and no target-directed activity. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Reconstitute in the original buffer or water, then dilute to the blocking concentration specified by the protocol, typically in the percentage range for membrane blocking. |
| Components / Formulation | Bovine IgG lyophilised powder; no additional components. |
| Storage Conditions | 2 to 8°C as lyophilised powder |
| Shelf Life | 24 months |
| Package Specifications | 100 mg, 1 g, 5 g or 10 g powder packs |
| Product Form | Lyophilised powder |
| Quality Control | Purity verified by SDS-PAGE for every lot; lyophilisation and solubility confirmed at release. |
| Key Features | Purified from pooled normal serum by dedicated fractionation; at least 97 percent pure; unlabelled for nonspecific blocking and control use. |
| Purity | >=97% (SDS-PAGE) |
| Molecular Weight | Approximately 150 kDa (IgG molecule) |
| Source / Origin | Pooled normal bovine serum |
