| Product Name | Anti-HA Tag Affinity Purification Gel |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0288 |
| Description | A cross-linked agarose gel bearing a Protein A-purified mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody (clone 1A4) against the HA epitope, coupled at about 7.5 g of antibody per litre of gel. The gel offers a high loading capacity of at least 1.5 mg of fusion protein per millilitre with little non-specific binding of host proteins, and supports both immunoprecipitation and preparative purification of HA-tagged constructs. |
| Intended Use | Immunoprecipitation of HA-tagged proteins and their interacting partners, and affinity purification of HA fusion proteins from expression lysates. |
| Principle / Technology | Immobilised anti-HA antibody captures the epitope-tagged target; low-pH elution or epitope competition releases the bound protein. |
| Detection Method | HA (haemagglutinin) epitope tag |
| Sample Type | Clarified protein lysates; the recommended dose is 5 microlitres of gel per 500 microlitres of crude lysate |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Binding capacity of at least 1.5 mg protein per mL of gel; antibody density 7.5 g/L of gel |
| Specificity | Directed at the HA tag by mouse IgG1 monoclonal clone 1A4; low non-specific protein carryover |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Pre-wash the gel, incubate an aliquot with the clarified lysate, collect the gel by brief centrifugation, wash thoroughly and elute under acidic or competitive conditions. |
| Components / Formulation | 1:1 gel suspension in phosphate-glycerol preservation buffer |
| Storage Conditions | -20 °C; stable for one year; never freeze in glycerol-free solutions |
| Shelf Life | 12 months at -20 °C |
| Package Specifications | 1 mL, 5 mL, 25 mL and 100 mL packs |
| Product Form | Agarose gel slurry in 50% glycerol buffer |
| Quality Control | Antibody concentration, coupling efficiency and capacity verified per lot |
| Key Features | High loading capacity with clean backgrounds; Protein A-purified monoclonal ligand; glycerol-protected formulation that survives freezer storage; suitable for both analytical IP and preparative runs |
| Purity | Antibody ligand purified via Protein A |
| Concentration | 7.5 g antibody per litre of gel; supplied as a 1:1 gel-to-buffer suspension |
| Activity / Unit Definition | At least 1.5 mg HA-tagged fusion protein bound per mL of gel |
| Source / Origin | Mouse monoclonal IgG1 (clone 1A4) coupled to cross-linked agarose |
| pH Range / Optimal pH | pH 7.4 in the storage formulation |
| Shipping Conditions | Ice pack |
| Expiration Date / Stability | One year at -20 °C in the glycerol-containing buffer |
| Regulatory / Compliance | Research-use raw material |
| Compatibility | Compatible with standard IP and wash buffers; keep glycerol in the matrix whenever the gel is frozen |
| Recommended Buffer System | 10 mM sodium phosphate, 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, pH 7.4, with 0.02% sodium azide |
| Application Notes / Precautions | Do not freeze in glycerol-free media; mix gently before pipetting; use low-retention tips when dispensing small gel volumes. |
| Batch-to-Batch Consistency | Lot-controlled; lot number on the label |
| Model Type | Antibody-coupled agarose affinity gel |
| Starting Material / Tissue Site | Expression lysates containing HA-tagged fusion proteins |
| Delivery Standard | Delivered as a 1:1 gel suspension; pack size equals settled gel volume |
| Readouts / Downstream Assays | Western blot or interaction analysis of the eluted HA-tagged protein |
For in vitro diagnostic use.
