Detection Principle	The proof is based on the Legal’s test. Sodium nitroprusside causes a violet reaction of the test pad in an alkaline solution with ketones (acetoacetic acid or acetone). The color depth is related to the content of ketones.
Application	For visual evaluation or for instrumental evaluation on automatic urine analyzer, urine analyzer and fully automated integrated urine analyzer.
