| How It Works | Blood collection procedure: Use a lancet to draw blood. Gently squeeze the fingertip to form a blood droplet. Sample collection: Hold the blood collection tube horizontally close to the blood droplet. Touch the tube tip to the droplet, then transfer the sample to the coagulation test strip within 15 seconds. Allow capillary action to fill the reagent strip to the white stopper. If complete filling is needed, squeeze the finger to add more blood. Transferring the sample: Insert the tip of the transfer tube into the sample well of the test strip, ensuring the tip contacts the flashing green light in front of the wheel. Fully depress the black plunger to release the blood. |
